As a key member of the Infrastructure Technology team, you will be responsible for supporting identity and access management,
access provisioning, and logical access control. Identity and Access Management (IAM) serves as the central provider for logical
access rights administration. Staff in this area work with critical and sensitive information, manage access rights daily, and are relied
upon to uphold essential security safeguards that ensure the corporation's objectives for security, availability, and performance are
met.
In this role, you will also consult with users regarding user administration and authorization issues. Additionally, you will assist in the
day-to-day operations and management of access provisioning tasks, including Active Directory domain accounts, myAccess, and
network access rights for all employees and contractors at Manitoba Hydro.
Responsibilities:
- Perform access management administration duties (onboarding, transfers, offboarding, access reviews, working closely with
staff in the IT department and the business).
- Assist in the strategy setting, definition, implementation and monitoring access management and user admin standards and
procedures.
- Perform IAM administration duties in multiple development and production systems, including applying appropriate
authorization to user IDs, creation of user IDs and changing user's passwords.
- Ensure authorization role integrity throughout multiple Systems. Ensure that roles allow users to appropriately access
functionality within the specific systems while limiting access to sensitive data.
- Create regular and ad hoc reports using various tools and a variety of data sources for management and line of business as
requested.
- Co-ordinate testing, when required, of authorization roles and work with Business Analysts and the client community to ensure
individuals or groups can only access appropriate functionality.
- Provide on-going support, troubleshooting and resolution to Azure AD/IAM technology, platforms, environments, or access
administration.
- Provide advisory services to Business Analysts, developers, management, and various departments in the areas of security
access, file\folder\drive access wants and needs.
- Provide on-going support, troubleshooting, and resolution of basic SAP accounts.
- Keep abreast of security enhancements as they apply to the implementation of identity and access management at Manitoba
Hydro.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement. Supports the implementation of changes to department
policies and procedures to meet changing business needs and to achieve department objectives.
- Provide positive customer service interactions for all levels of the organization up to and including senior executive staff.
- Assist in the day-to-day operation and management of Access Provisioning duties such as Active Directory Domain Accounts,
Office Support, myAccess, Network Access rights and daily ticket completion, following corporate set SLA's.

- Assist with creation, modification, and administration of Service Hub services and Knowledge Base Articles (KBA's) pertaining
to IAM.
Qualifications:
- A four-year degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from a university of recognized standing with two years of
identity and access management experience demonstrating the skills and qualities required by this position.
OR
- A two-year Computer/IT diploma from an institute of recognized standing and four years of identity and access management
experience demonstrating the skills and qualities required by this position.
- Demonstrated excellent technical support skills and analysis including a high level of proficiency in various software
applications, for example: Windows Powershell, Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn quickly in new situations.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and proven ability to complete detailed work accurately with a minimum of supervision.
- Possess initiative with the ability to conduct research and analysis.
- Possess an analytical nature and mature judgment with the ability to make and implement sound decisions.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Ability to work in a flexible work environment that embraces rapid change, emphasizes continuous learning, and attacks new
challenges.
- Prepared to work overtime when required
- Collaborates and communicates well, builds great working relationships, influences others, challenges effectively and
responds well to challenges from others, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.
- A general knowledge of fundamental security principals in IT.
- Obtain and maintain a current Personnel Risk Assessment and a "Clear" security rating in accordance with Manitoba Hydro
Policy P513.
- Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Training is required and must be completed prior to transfer date and renewed annually.
Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $34.80-$48.16 Hourly,
$66,691.04-$92,279.98 Annually.
