Your work will include: Field diagnosis and running repairs of CAT Equipment in an active mine environment Interface with customers, products and sales support Large‑scale overhauls and rebuilds Component replacements Completing required paperwork and maintaining clear customer communication Specific Skills & Experience Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic/(HET) Certification Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract (5 Yr) 10+ Years Off Road Mechanical Experience Recommended Previous repair experience on the Caterpillar mining and general line product lines 793 Haul Trucks, 6015, 6040 and 6060 Shovels, D9 and D10 dozers, 395 Excavators, and 18 Graders Computer literacy along with Finning S-level courses Important Information: This is a site position, located at Artemis Blackwater Mine on a 14 x 14 continuous shift rotation A condition of employment includes the ability to obtain Customer Site Access (includes Drug & Alcohol testing, and Fitness assessment) and the ability to wear a respirator Union Membership: This is a unionized position.
