Role: Big Data Quality Engineer Location: Kitchener, ON (Hybrid) Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office) Hiring Mode: Contract
Pay: CAD 50/Hr. Experience Required: 8+ years
Description: We are looking for a motivated Big Data QE with a passion for P&C Insurance. Assist in various data testing projects in a Big Data environment. Work closely with a team to build test strategies aligned with design specifications, standards, and user requirements. Perform testing in an iterative Agile process. Write and execute queries in GCP BigQuery. Perform ETL and database testing, including data migration and report validation. Analyze data and validate accuracy across systems. Demonstrate expertise in writing and understanding complex SQL queries. Design and execute test cases in a Big Data environment.
Essential Skills Experience in Big Data testing and data validation. Strong knowledge of GCP BigQuery. Expertise in ETL testing, database testing, data migration, and report validation. Advanced SQL skills with ability to handle complex queries. Ability to design and execute test cases in a Big Data environment. Experience working in Agile methodologies.
