  • Be enrolled in a post-secondary institution and available from May to August.

Your Opportunity at SECURE This summer student role provides hands-on experience supporting the Proposal Generation and Sales Support function within the Stimulation Chemicals business unit. The student will assist with interpreting wellbore data, preparing customer proposals, coordinating logistics, and supporting both sales and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely chemical deliveries.

This position will be based in the Calgary Brookfield office, on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. The Team The student will join a collaborative, customer-focused team that works closely across sales, operations, and production. The environment is fast-paced and detail-driven, offering opportunities to build strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills while being supported by experienced colleagues.

A Day in The Life

  • Working with the sales team to interpret wellbore information, design the appropriate chemical systems, and then enter the data to create customer proposals.
  • Tracking and documenting jobs as they are programmed and delivered.
  • Logistics Coordination and Interfacing with the end user to ensure the accurate delivery of chemistry.
  • Coordinate directly with hauling companies to organize the timing and logistics of outgoing deliveries.
  • Create BOLs. (Bill of Lading)
  • Execute orders and coordinate sales directly with the customer.
  • Liaise with the production facility to provide forecasting and updates on chemical requirements.
  • General administrative duties and sales support tasks.
  • Accurately and efficiently perform all tasks as assigned.
  • Understand and comply with all safety, environmental requirements, and company policies.
  • Be available (on call) for weekends and evenings to support the stimulation chemicals team.
  • Perform various other duties by the sales and operations staff as required

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in a post-secondary program and returning to studies after the work term; a Technical or Business diploma/degree is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence in collaborating across multiple teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); data entry accuracy is essential.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Safety-minded and professional, with certifications such as TDG, WHMIS 2015, and First Aid, considered an asset.
