Salary Range**:** $26.002 -$32.589 Hourly
Grade**:** SGEU.06.
The Ministry of Highways is seeking a highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills to join the Project Management Support unit within the Project Support Office.
As a Consultant Payment Administrator, you will form part of a provincial team that handles professional services agreement administration and payment for consultants.
As a Consultant Payment Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and processing payments for Ministry professional services agreements;
- Reviewing consultant commissions, including scope extensions, and verifying the rates being invoiced for various personnel on invoices;
- Working with various stakeholders, including but not limited to consultants, the Consultant Agreements Coordinator, Ministry Project Managers, and the Ministry of Finance when discrepancies arise;
- Updating and maintaining multiple spreadsheets, databases, and filing systems;
- Verifying and processing accruals and providing general assistance during the Ministry’s fiscal year end;
- Communicating and providing administrative support to internal Ministry staff, consultants; and,
- Performing administrative duties within the Ministry’s e-Builder project management software.
The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines, and exceptional communication skills. Experience working with Excel spreadsheets, Access databases, and/or Oracle Accounting Systems will be considered an asset.
