We are looking for a Head Cashier to join our location in Clearwater, BC.
The successful candidate must have open availability to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and professional experience by greeting and assisting customers with inquiries, returns, requests, and concerns.
- Manage the daily operations for cash registers and front-end team members.
- Complete daily tasks which include cash up, balancing, deposits, coin orders, and credit/debit transactions.
- Support front-end team members by helping on registers, bagging customers’ groceries, and stocking shelves with the freshest products.
- Verify and ensure accurate department signage, including pricing.
- Communicate important messages and provide training to team members.
- Ensure accurate inventory management including stock counts and orders.
- Create the weekly department schedules and assist with maintaining staffing levels.
- Maintain the customer service area to keep it clean and sanitary.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years cashier experience.
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience.
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Retail or customer service experience is considered an asset.

Compensation Details:
