Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Market Growth
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand AIL’s presence in the civil construction market, with a focus on steel products. Identify growth opportunities through market analysis, customer insights, and competitive positioning.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals. Drive performance through clear goals, regular feedback, and accountability.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Act as a trusted advisor, anticipate needs, and support complex negotiations and contract reviews.
Forecasting & Performance Management
Prepare sales forecasts, manage regional budgets, and track performance against targets. Implement corrective strategies where needed.
Product Promotion & Industry Engagement
Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and represent AIL at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings. Travel within the region to support and develop the sales team.
Pricing Strategy
Partner with internal teams to establish competitive pricing strategies that balance profitability and market competitiveness.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with production, engineering, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
Compliance & Ethics
Ensure all activities align with company policies and ethical standards, fostering a culture of integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- Proven sales management experience, preferably in civil construction or steel products
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting and budgeting
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Knowledge of civil engineering and steel materials is an asset
