About the role

Driving Excellence in CPA Preparatory Program Delivery

(12 month Contract)

CPA Ontario is seeking aPre-Certification Managerthat is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of the CPA Preparatory (PREP) program, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for students from enrolment through to exam completion. This role leads enrolment planning, course and exam administration, eligibility and results processes, and student communications, while actively contributing to national and regional education initiatives. The Pre-Certification Manager ensures operational excellence, consistency, and responsiveness, supporting students through a critical stage of their professional journey.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Overseeing enrolment planning and delivery by leading the preparatory enrolment team, managing course and exam offerings aligned with national schedules, and supporting initiatives to drive student participation.

Managing course material access and eligibility processes by ensuring accurate attendance reporting, conducting eligibility reviews, and proactively communicating with students at risk of not meeting requirements.

Leading the exam results and remarks process by overseeing reconciliation and upload of results, coordinating remark requests with CPA Canada, and supporting the broader results release process including the CFE.

Guiding student communications and escalations by managing complex inquiries, reviewing extenuating circumstances, approving deferrals or refunds, and contributing to clear and effective communication strategies.

Contributing to continuous improvement by participating in national working groups, maintaining accurate website content, and supporting the evolution of education program delivery.

Who You Are:

A post-secondary graduate with at least 5 years of administrative or program coordination management experience in a fast-paced environment.

A strong communicator with the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism, sound judgement, and diplomacy.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple deadlines, and deliver with accuracy under pressure.

Technically proficient, with strong Microsoft Office skills and a demonstrated ability to learn and leverage new systems; experience with Salesforce is an asset.

Familiar with or able to quickly understand CPA education processes, bringing a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to supporting student success.

Salary Range:The starting annual salary for this position is between$82,900 and $103,700per annum, based on candidates’ qualifications, experience, and internal parity. Exceptions may be considered with further review.
