Position Overview: The team is tasked with advancing the tools and frameworks used to implement and grow digital services both internal to and to the public. The Digital Products team, as part of ITSS, is responsible for building integrations between systems using an API-centric approach. We are seeking a qualified Systems Integration Developer to design and build integrations for the Digital Products team. The Systems Integration Developer will be required to work with API developers, technical leads, health-based IT teams to review requirements, design API definitions, and build and support APIs using our Enterprise Integration Platform. Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing integrations through APIs by using Mulesoft’s AnyPoint platform
• Developing mapping of various source and target data types (database, flat file, x12, json, XML) with various transport mechanisms (SQL, REST HTTP, SOAP, FTP, FTPS, Email, etc.)
• Collaborating with onboarding teams, developers, and others
• Providing defect analysis and resolution support for system and user acceptance testing
• Creating and maintaining API RAML or file specification documentation
• Creating data extraction, cleansing and formatting scripts
• Documenting custom logic specific to individual integrations
• Completing other work as required by Government.

Skills & Qualifications:

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience directly related to programming

• Experience designing and/or implementing web applications

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in:

• Writing code that was well designed, tested and put into a production environment

• RESTful API design, development and support

• Data mapping and transformation skills using Mulesoft integration platforms

• Designing and/or implementing integration solutions

• Experience working in a cross functional development environment

• Version control such as Git or Azure

• Automation servers such as Jenkins; and

• CI using software such as Jenkins, Azure and Git.

• Experience developing with:

• MuleSoft components (Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, ETLs, API Management)

• Java/Springboot

• Relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB and MS SQL Server

• Writing OpenAPI or RAML specifications

• Creating details technical design specifications for new integrations

• Writing and deploying mUnit tests and integration tests.
