Are you a highly analytical, detail-oriented student with a passion for data, system integrations, and process automation? We’re seeking an ETL Developer Co-op Student who enjoys solving problems, learning new tools, and optimizing how information flows between systems.

About the role:

Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, the ETL Developer Co-op Student is responsible for enhancing the data integration between two of our core systems: NetSuite and Salesforce. The connection is managed using the Celigo integration platform.

You don’t need prior experience with these specific systems, but a strong understanding of process flows, data handling, and problem-solving is essential. This position is ideal for a student looking to gain real-world experience in system integration and data management within a collaborative IT environment.

Location:

This position is based out of our headquarters at 36 Vimy Street, Acton ON

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance existing NetSuite system reports by adding additional fields
  • Build new reports to support data extraction
  • Map outbound data into Celigo
  • Convert data types from NetSuite to match Salesforce requirements
  • Create additional lookups to merge data from multiple sources into a single dataset
  • Build and execute data imports into Salesforce
  • Test results and ensure data accuracy
  • Document new process flows, data mappings, and field definitions in both systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Information Science, Data Management, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of SQL and data flow concepts
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving, research, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with integration platforms (e.g., Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar) preferred
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as NetSuite or CRM such as Salesforce considered an asset
  • Knowledge of data transformation and validation principles
