The Senior Manager, Internal Audit for Operational Risk Management is responsible for leading the internal audit function for operational risk management across the organization. This role involves:
- Developing and executing audit plans to assess the effectiveness of operational risk management processes.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Providing insights and recommendations to enhance operational risk management practices.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead audits of operational risk management processes.
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in internal audit or risk management.
- Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA).
- Experience in financial services industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
