WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

  • 7+ years of progressive property management experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience managing large-scale assets (500+ units); lease-up and new development experience strongly preferred
  • Exposure to mixed-use or commercial/retail operations is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario’s Residential Tenancies Act, LTB processes, and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, vendor management, and cost control
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and ownership groups
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead through complexity and change
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for on-call and after-hours support

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As Senior Property Manager, you will lead all aspects of operations for a newly delivered 1,140-unit, three-building community, including residential and ground-floor commercial components. You will build and lead your team, establish operational systems and service standards, and act as the primary escalation point for complex resident and tenant matters.

You will partner closely with development and leasing teams to support lease-up, oversee unit readiness and onboarding, and manage construction deficiencies through to resolution. You will drive financial performance through budgeting, vendor oversight, and contract management, while ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements.

This role is instrumental in shaping the long-term culture, performance, and resident experience of the community—setting the standard for operational excellence.

Compensation

The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 + bonus. The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skills, experience, and relevant education or training, and may vary within or beyond the stated range.

Base salary is only one component of Hazelview’s competitive total rewards package.
