About the Opportunity
Manage daily cash operations for Canadian Corporate Treasury, including cash positioning, account reconciliations, and reporting. Monitor daily cash activity and prepare cash flow forecasts. Administer and maintain the organization's treasury management system. Coordinate liquidity management initiatives, including cash pooling and intercompany funding activities. Serve as the primary liaison with banking partners, ensuring compliance with corporate banking policies. Manage and enhance the intercompany payment netting process. Maintain treasury policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal control requirements. Prepare, review, and process a variety of domestic and international payments through electronic banking platforms. Manage bank account administration, including account maintenance and user access in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Execute short-term investment and foreign exchange (FX) transactions in accordance with treasury strategies and policies. Maintain supplier banking information and vendor records within the Supplier Maintenance Agreement system. Provide administration and employee support for the SAP Concur travel and expense management system. Support corporate credit card administration, including vendor code maintenance. Coordinate Fleet Program administration, including vehicle documentation, toll inquiries, fines, and related activities. Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. Support internal control compliance, audit requirements, and ad hoc financial analysis. Drive process improvements by implementing lean accounting principles and identifying operational efficiencies. Participate in special projects and provide support to the Global Treasury Services team as required.
About You
College diploma or post-secondary education in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in a treasury, cash management, or corporate finance environment. Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management, and banking processes. High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities. Collaborative team player with the ability to build effective relationships across departments and external partners. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with treasury management systems, SAP Concur, or ERP systems is considered an asset. Knowledge of automation and productivity tools such as Power Query or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is an asset. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
