About the role
We're hiring an experienced Marketing Coordinator for our growing team. THIS IS A FULL-TIME PERMANENT POSITION IN A HYBRID WORK ENVIRONMENT BASED IN HAMILTON, ONTARIO.
Cubicle Fugitive seeks a passionate and talented marketer who plays well with others and wants to join our strategy team. This role is an instrumental part of our group and works with clients on various projects, including marketing and brand researcH, advertising and print coordination, website coordination, copywriting, social media, PR, and keyword research, and more. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about marketing, loves working with clients and collaborating with peers, and is extremely conscientious about their work.

-Project & Client Coordination:Coordinate all aspects of marketing material development, from initial concept to final client approval, ensuring projects are delivered on time and align with strategic goals. Serve as a centRal point of contact for clients while supporting the marketing, development, and design teams by managing deadlines and coordinating deliverables. -Content Strategy & Research:Conduct research and analysis of clients, markets, competitors, content, brands, website traffic, and keywords to inform brand and marketing plans, website briefs, and content strategies. Draft brand and client messaging, LinkedIn and news updates, and comprEhensive content (including client bios and practice area descriptions) across various channels. -Copywriting:Write clear, coMpelling, and polished copy across a range of formats, including formal reports, website content, and other client-facing materials.Candidates will be asked to submit writing samples (preferably formal reports or essays and website content) as part of the application process. -**Digital & Web Maintenance:**Confidently learn and utilize our Content Management Systems (CMS) (Sitefinity and WordPress) to manage and maintain website content. Migrate new content, edit existing pages, and draft and implement SEO meta data. -**Social Media Management:**Manage, update, and monitor client social media accounts, creating and scheduling content and visuals that successfully effectively execute on brand strategies. Provide ideas and recommendations on how to better leverage the platforms and new emerging technologies to strengthen our clients' brands. -**Production & Quality Assurance:**Create engaging visual content using design tools like Canva. Coordinate print production, including image sourcing, compiling specifications, getting quotes, and proofreading all materials to ensure high quality, accuracy, and brand consistency. -**Reporting & Administration:**Prepare status reports on marketing efforts and assist in drafting client proposals.
Qualifications and Essential Skills
Our ideal candidate has a business and marketing background and is a highly organized, strategic thinker who is detail-oriented and a team player.

Has a post-secondary degree pr diploma in Business or Marketing (strongly preferred).

Has 1–3 years of experience in a marketing role (including school, internship, or co-op experience) is an asset. -Exceptional Communication & Writing Skills: Possesses solid written and verbal communication skills. Has a proven ability to write clear, compelling, grammatically correct copy and demonstrates meticulous proofreading proficiency. -**Strategic & Personal Attributes:**Is smart, creative, hard-working, and resourceful. Is driven to go beyond good and always seek excellence. You are curious, thoughtful, and adept at seeing the big picture while breaking down complex problems. -**Design & Detail Orientation:**Possesses a high attention to detail and a strong visual eye for design. Can manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines and keeping team members and stakeholders informed and on schedule. -Digital Platform Fluency:Highly skilled in using design platforms such as Canva to produce marketing visuals. Confident and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quickly adapts to Content Management Systems (CMS). Is also able to confidEntly and responsibly use AI to streamline offerings for clients. -**Client Focus:**Loves working with people and seeks to provide an exceptional client experience for internal and external stakeholders. Is eager about working in a fast-paced agency environment alongside professionals, particularly in legal and professional service sectors.
