Technical Support x2: On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Technical Support x2 for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.
Technical Support x2 - Job Description: This role involves supporting an enterprise protect project focused on cybersecurity. The Technical Support will provide technical expertise in development and support activities, with an emphasis on application security.
Technical Support x2 - Responsibilities:
- Support users, generally on a conference bridge
- Perform technical work on a server
- Remote into desktops
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise complex informatics assignments
- Solve business problems by providing detailed technical advice
- Coordinate, lead, and monitor technical systems inquiries
- Liaise with vendors and service suppliers
Technical Support x2 - Mandatory Skills:
- Technical knowledge and background
- Tech support experience working 1 on 1 with users
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Understanding basics of servers, desktops, routers
- Ability to communicate issues to non-technical users
Technical Support x2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Networking knowledge
- Understanding multi-factor authentication
Technical Support x2 – Assignment Length: This is a 1-year contract position with potential for extension.
Technical Support x2 - Start Date: ASAP
Technical Support x2 - Assignment Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite and the remainder remote.
