Principal tasks and responsibilities include
Process high-volume Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions. Prepare and post journal entries. Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Support month end close activities. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Communicate with customers and vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries. Assist with reporting and other operational accounting responsibilities. Support continuous improvements to accounting processes and workflows. Collaborate with the Finance team on day-to-day accounting operations.
Qualifications and pre-requisites
Bilingual in English and French. 1 to 3+ years of accounting experience. Experience with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working with an ERP or accounting system. Ability to prioritize work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
