Responsibilities:
- Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner
- Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems, and time required.
- Efficiently help customers select parts and provide customers with high-quality service
- Schedule appointments using dealership booking system
- Follow up progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by telephone or text message regarding changes in the estimate or time promised
- Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in progress and appointments and return phone messages promptly
- Answer phone calls, indicate prices, take orders for parts
- Receive Payments from retail customers
- Review work performed with customers and handle customer complaints
- Interpret warranty information and policies to customers
- Stay up to date on technical and performance information on all vehicles serviced by the dealership
- Assist the service manager as necessary
Requirements:
- Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
- Professional, reliable, and possessing strong customer service skills
- Excellent writing skills and computer proficiency
- Ability to manage and resolve difficult customer complaints
- Organized and detail-orientated
- Ability to follow set and standard procedures
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Team player with strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and take self-initiative
- Must have driver's license and clean drivers abstract strong knowledge of automotive parts and technical/mechanical repairs
- Experience with PBS or similar industry software considered an asset
- Ability to work retail business hours including Saturdays
