Under the supervision of the Director of Technical Services in Operations, and in collaboration with Maintenance Technician Supervisors, the Technical Coordinator’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and periodically update various building records (BOMA, asbestos, fire system maintenance, PMU binder, FM insurance, energy tracking, technicians’ hours, etc.);
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure work orders are properly closed according to best practices;
  • Optimize the Facility Manager system (Yardi);
  • Ensure the Facility Manager system (Yardi) is continuously kept up to date;
  • Produce periodic reports on Yardi usage by the operations team;
  • Act as the main point of contact for requests related to the Facility Manager system (Yardi), and liaise with the IT team to follow up on requests;
  • Collaborate on national tenders and act as the point of contact for preparing tender documents;
  • Follow up on inspection reports with property managers;
  • Assist in the development of a comprehensive building dashboard;
  • Participate in monthly property visits with the management team and assist in drafting visit reports;
  • Coordinate with the alarm monitoring center for after-hours and weekend calls, as well as for any modifications or additions;
  • Support technical supervisors in coordinating technicians’ vacation and personal leave requests, as well as managing overtime and premiums;
  • Prepare summaries of technicians’ expense reports and the use of Mach vehicles;
  • Coordinate uniform distribution across the entire MACH Group;
  • Perform any other related duties.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Certificate or AEC (Attestation of College Studies) in project management or technical coordination;
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar role;
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Yardi accounting systems is an asset.
