We are looking for a talented Java developer / DevSecOps professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust solutions for automating our development and deployment processes, ensuring the continuity and quality of our software products.
What you'll do here:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve the efficiency of the software development lifecycle.
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure and automation tools for deploying, monitoring, and supporting our applications.
- Ensure the management and monitoring of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Optimize the performance and availability of our applications.
- Identify issues and propose improvements to existing systems.
- Actively participate in code reviews, security testing, and the implementation of backup measures.
- Train and support teams on DevOps best practices.
- Ensure system compliance with company security and privacy policies.
What you bring to the table:
- 3 years of experience in software development (Java, Sping, Spring Boot, Mavent)
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent background.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- DevOps and Cloud certifications are a plus.
- Experience in system administration.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Bilingual – French and English - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
