JOB PURPOSE

The Manager Physiotherapy is responsible for overseeing the provision of physiotherapy services for the zone.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A University degree in a related field.
• Must be registered and a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapist of New Brunswick and eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
• Must have five years experience as a physiotherapist in a health care setting and three years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Good work record.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manager Physiotherapy is responsible for:

• Leading the planning and development of physiotherapy services
• Directing, overseeing and evaluating the provision of services
• Managing fiscal and human resources to ensure the quality and safety of service delivery
• Coordinating and evaluating workload and service delivery
• Providing clinical leadership and mentoring
• Developing, monitoring and ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures
• Performing the work of an physiotherapist
