Join the Ministry of the Solicitor General and help shape the delivery of health care services within Ontario's correctional system. We are seeking to fill two Health Care Manager positions—one at the Central East Correctional Centre (CECC) and one at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre (OCDC). CECC Health Care Manager
As the Health Care Manager at the Central East Correctional Centre (CECC), you will provide leadership within a complex health care environment that is experiencing significant transformation and change. This role requires a strong people leader who can build trust, strengthen team engagement, navigate challenging workplace dynamics, and support staff through evolving operational priorities. You will champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring the delivery of high-quality health care services.
OCDC Health Care Manager
As the Health Care Manager at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre (OCDC), you will lead a multidisciplinary health care team in a fast-paced correctional setting. The role requires a leader who can foster stability, build strong stakeholder relationships, and effectively navigate employee and labour relations matters. Success in this position will depend on your ability to lead with transparency, support team development, and drive positive change through an evidence-informed, systems-thinking approach that continuously improves clinical and operational practice and strengthens quality health care delivery.
