About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will supervise staff, ensure exceptional customer service, maintain food quality and safety standards, and support efficient restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of food service staff. Train employees in job duties, customer service, sanitation, and safety procedures. Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met. Assist with staff scheduling and monitor employee performance. Estimate and order food, beverages, and restaurant supplies as needed. Maintain inventory records and minimize food waste. Resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive dining experience. Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace safety regulations. Monitor cleanliness of dining, kitchen, and food preparation areas. Assist management with opening and closing procedures. Prepare operational reports and maintain records of sales, inventory, and employee attendance. Qualifications Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant or food service environment. Previous supervisory experience is considered an asset. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
