Position Summary
The Site Equipment Coordinator is a full-time position that supports ongoing construction activities and assists both our internal team and the on-site general contractors. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in construction environments who enjoys a mix of equipment operation, logistics, and maintenance responsibilities.
The following job responsibilities are essential for the success of this position
- Operate and manage on-site construction equipment
- Telehandlers (10 and 12,000lb units)
- 250 Komatsu loader, T66 Bobcat Skid steer
- E48 Bobcat excavator
- Dodge dually fuel truck
- Occasionally, run the packer or the walk-behind packer
- Transport materials and supplies from local vendors (e.g., lumber yards)
- Fuel, maintain, and track the condition of all site vehicles and machinery
- Coordinate equipment usage with the civil contractor’s crew and external general contractors
- Ensure tools and machinery are in safe working condition and compliant with site standards
- Support general site organization and logistics as needed
All other duties as assigned
Technical Skills:
- Construction Equipment Operation - Experience operating specific machinery, such as Telehandlers (10 and 12.000lb units), Bobcat Skid Steers, Bobcat Excavators, Komatsu Loaders, and occasionally packers.
- Mechanical Skills - Basic mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance of construction equipment and machinery, ensuring everything is in good working condition.
- Logistics and Equipment Management - Ability to manage equipment schedules, coordinate with contractors, and transport materials efficiently. This includes tracking the condition of machinery and tools on-site.
- Safety and Compliance Knowledge - Understanding of safety standards and site compliance regarding equipment and tool usage. Ensuring all machinery meets safety and operational standards.
Experience:
- Hands-on Construction Experience - Direct experience in construction settings, especially involving equipment operation and maintenance.
- Site Organization and Coordination - Proven experience in coordinating with external contractors, managing site logistics, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Team Collaboration and Communication - Strong teamwork abilities, with experience working in coordination with general contractors and internal teams.
- Valid Driver’s License - A clean driving record to operate vehicles, including the Dodge dually fuel truck.
Compensation: $25.00 to $28.00/hour
