Job Description
As aSystem Administratorat UbisoftMontreal, you will be part of the Distribution team within the IT Games and Studios group. You will contribute to the operation, evolution, and automation of the infrastructure and services that support game production on internal and cloud-based platforms. This System Administrator role has a direct impact on the reliability, performance, and availability of the environments used by production teams.
What you’ll do
- Ensure theoperational stabilityof infrastructure and services in production environments
- Work closely withproduction teamsto understand their needs and propose appropriate technical solutions
- Design and maintainautomation scriptsto reduce manual work and improve system reliability
- Analyzecodebases and automated integration and deployment pipelinesto diagnose and resolve complex incidents
- Implement and evolvemonitoring and system health trackingsolutions
- Promoteoperations automationand continuous improvement of system management practices
- Take part in a sharedon-call support rotationfor critical services
- Continuously improvesystem performance, resilience, and availability
Qualifications
What you bring to the team

Hands-on experience withWindows and Linux environments, including service and application hosting

Knowledge ofautomated integration and deployment processes, including tools such as GitLab
-
Strong skills inprogramming and scripting, for example using Python, Shell, PowerShell, or Ruby
-
Experience withcontainerization and service orchestration technologies, such as Kubernetes and Docker
-
Knowledge ofautomated infrastructure and configuration managementtools
-
Familiarity withcloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
-
Ability tosolve complex technical problemsusing a structured and methodical approach
-
Strong communication skills toclearly explain technical conceptsto both technical and non-technical audiences
