Electrical Quality Control Engineer – Nuclear Sector | Fully Remote
You will be responsible for Quality Control and qualification activities for electrical, electronic, and software equipment destined for nuclear plants, acting as the client interface and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Your Role
You will manage Quality Control activities for electrical, electronic, and software equipment intended for nuclear applications. You will serve as the technical point of contact for the client regarding QA/QC matters during the qualification and validation phases. You will coordinate supply follow-up, verifying compliance with project requirements. You will collaborate with international multidisciplinary teams on a project in Romania.
Your Duties
Managing qualification activities for electrical, electronic, and software equipment for nuclear applications. Verifying technical and documentation compliance against nuclear standards and regulations, with a specific focus on CSA standards. Following up on supplies, monitoring progress, and managing inspection and acceptance activities. Acting as a direct interface with the client and supporting Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
At least 15 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Supplier Quality roles within the nuclear sector. Knowledge of equipment qualification (electrical, electronic, and software) for nuclear applications. Knowledge of Canadian CSA nuclear standards; familiarity with other industry regulations is a plus. Good command of English; knowledge of Italian is not required.
