Digital Sales Leader (Metals & Minerals / Fertilizers)

Our team ensures production enhancement for our customers in Mining/Metals/Fertilizer so that they can function efficiently and perform at the highest level. We provide technical solutions to help with all their challenges.
Partner with the best
As a Digital Sales Leader you will be responsible for independently defining sales strategy and achieve bookings targets for the assigned countries through work with key accounts, direct customers, channel partners and EPC within Mining/Metals/Fertilizer industry in Canada and Alaska through our entire Cordant portfolio including Hardware, Software and Services.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for preparing proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment. Contribute to the operational plan of own department.

As a Digital Sales Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Defining sales strategies to penetrate new industrial markets (mining, metals, fertilizer), enabling Cordant Solutions to displace competitors providing end-to-end solutions to customers.
- Leveraging knowledge and sales experiences to displace competitors looking after plant wide solutions and global agreement with key customers for industrial markets.
- Developing proposals; negotiating with customers, channel partners and EPCs; ensuring deals deliver shareholder value; driving competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.
- Handling standardized products with pre-defined options requiring simple client advice.
- Contributing to prices and conditions to have a certain degree of granularity. Works on the basis of predefined contracts price frameworks. Some latitude to deviate from prices and conditions.
- Handling targeted clients as well as opening new accounts.
- Defining customer approach autonomously.
- Handling large region size, growth region, need to established market presence
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have preferably an Engineering or Business Management degree with 5 years commercial experience in industrial markets (mining/metals/fertilizer).
- Be willing to travel 50% of the time.
- Possess good knowledge about asset management market and APM Digital Solutions for Mining and Metals market segment.
- Be fluent in English (French is a plus).

The annual pay scale for this position is between $115,210.00 - $181,840.00.
