Description Du Poste Sommaire Effectuer diverses tâches courantes et complexes liées à l’installation, à la maintenance et à l’étalonnage d’instruments biomédicaux thérapeutiques, diagnostiques ou de maintien de la vie. Ce poste gère les opérations quotidiennes, collabore avec les clients, soutient le développement des collègues et agit comme lien de communication entre les dirigeants hospitaliers et le siège social de Christie Innomed. Le rôle comprend également des activités pratiques de service biomédical et veille au respect des normes réglementaires.
Responsabilités principales
- Appliquer ses connaissances techniques pour superviser les opérations sur site.
- Effectuer les réparations et l’entretien planifié au quotidien.
- Encadrer et diriger les techniciens de soutien au besoin.
- Assurer la communication avec le client et informer le gestionnaire régional.
- Gérer les opérations de service, les contrats et l’inventaire des fournitures.
- Identifier et résoudre les problèmes techniques ou procéduraux.
- Prioriser les bons de travail ouverts et consigner les entretiens préventifs.
- Bâtir et maintenir de solides relations avec les clients.
- Contribuer à la performance financière par un service efficace.
Exigences du poste Qualifications Requises
- Diplôme d’études collégiales en génie biomédical requis; baccalauréat préféré.
- Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans un service d’ingénierie clinique hospitalier, avec exposition au leadership.
- Expérience technique en matière d'entretien des respirateurs et des systèmes d'anesthésie.
- Capacité à voyager régulièrement pour une durée pouvant aller jusqu’à deux semaines. Doit détenir un permis de conduire, un passeport et tout autre document de voyage valide nécessaire.
- Certifications techniques (A+, CBET, CRES, CLES, CCE) considérées comme un atout.
- Capacité d’obtenir la certification de technicien en équipement biomédical (ICC) exigée.
- Expérience avec Microsoft 365 et les systèmes de GMAO.
- Connaissance des circuits électroniques, du dépannage et des schémas biomédicaux.
- Disponibilité pour travailler le soir, les fins de semaine et les jours fériés au besoin.
- Connaissance de la physiologie, de l’anatomie et de la terminologie médicale.
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication écrite et orale.

This position oversees daily operations, collaborates with clients, supports colleague development, and acts as a communication link between hospital leadership and Christie Innomed’s head office. The role also involves hands-on biomedical service activities and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply technical knowledge to supervise on-site operations.
- Perform daily repairs and scheduled maintenance.
- Mentor and guide support technicians as needed.
- Communicate with clients and keep the Regional Manager informed.
- Manage service operations, contracts, and supply inventory.
- Identify and resolve technical or procedural issues.
- Prioritize open work orders and document preventive maintenance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Contribute to financial performance through efficient service delivery.
Qualifications And Requirements
- College diploma in Biomedical Engineering required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospital clinical engineering department, with exposure to leadership responsibilities.
- Technical experience in maintaining ventilators and anesthesia systems.
- Ability to travel regularly for up to two weeks at a time. Must hold a valid driver’s license, passport, and any other required travel documents.
- Technical certifications (A+, CBET, CRES, CLES, CCE) considered an asset.
- Ability to obtain ICC Biomedical Equipment Technician certification required.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and CMMS systems.
- Knowledge of electronic circuits, troubleshooting, and biomedical schematics.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
