Currently, our Consumer & Retail Solutions practice is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Vancouver office. We are searching for talented individuals who can help make KPMG the top choice in Canada for designing, building, and securing customer-focused organizations.
What You Will Do As a Senior Consultant, you will be part of a team who will envision the future of our clients’ business in the digital world. You will be learning from some of the best in the industry and expand your personal skillset by
- Supporting client pursuits business development efforts including preparing proposals and leading presentations to senior executives.
- Building long-term business relationships with senior client personnel and executives through engagements and networking in professional organizations.
- Taking accountability for client deliverables by leading engagements and teams to successful outcomes with a focus on supporting your team, client needs and generating value.
- Building your technical and analytical expertise by delivering high quality results on time and proactively identifying and resolving project issues.
- Working with senior KPMG leaders to understand, enhance and integrate service offerings across the practice.
- Understanding strategy, technology, design and process through the lens of a digital experience. This work includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, facilitating ideation sessions and developing and communicating recommendations.
- Setting up project plans, coordinating all the things that must get done and lay this out so everyone is clear on expectations.
- Preparing for and facilitating workshops.
What You Bring To The Role
- It is important to us that you have done this before - meaning 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Consulting services experience or experience selling in a consultative environment.
- We will win by being amazing as individuals but off the charts as a team, therefore a strong motivation and aptitude towards teamwork is essential.
- You have the ability to collect, organize and synthesize diverse and complex data sets to create digital transformation strategies.
- You do your research and you know a lot already, because you follow the trends and know who’s great.
- You ask excellent questions and listen intently to establish the point of view with clients.
- You understand that facilitation is important as a great workshop takes 4X more time to prepare than to deliver and you are unrelenting in this presentation.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information The expected base salary range for this position is $73,000 to $97,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
