SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide guidance and advice on the implementation of selling strategies;
- Develop competitive strategies that demonstrate Avionics products added value to customer processes;
- Receive customer requirements from Sales and acts as a maintenance subject matter expert;
- Gather accurate and complete information needed to complete estimates in accordance with the approved internal/external maintenance programs, company policy, procedure and regulatory requirements;
- Ensure the SLA targets are met;
- Review final estimates with Sales team – closes information gaps as necessary;
- Work through the Maintenance Planning process to convert the estimate into a Work Package or Work Order for execution, following the contract approval;
- May participate in account reviews and planning relative to increasing revenue stream within current accounts;
- Track time spent in Sales Support activities and update accordingly;
- Develop/find new avionic systems and strategy to increase sales;
- Manage Supplemental Type Certificate sale – technical update if required from TCCA.;
- Attend avionic trade show and dealer advisory boards, when required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Aviation or related field;
- A minimum of 10 years of aviation experience;
- Solid knowledge of maintenance planning and forecasting as demonstrated through 4 years of hands-on experience as well as a good working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs, maintenance manuals and service bulletins;
- AME E license is required;
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products including the ability to efficiently use MS Excel for sorting and presenting data;
- Ability to work under pressure and possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Very detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement;
- Ability to review own work for accuracy and thoroughness;
- Ability to excel in a team environment and work well with others;
- Strong communication skills.
