Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior .Net Developer with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.

Work model:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an Hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, Ontario.
Work Authorization: **Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the Canada without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future**
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop web applications using .NET Core C# and MVC.
- Implement and optimise database solutions with SQL Server.
- Use Entity Framework for data access and persistence.
- Build interactive UI components using jQuery.
- Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams for requirement analysis and delivery.
- Ensure performance security and maintainability of applications.
- Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in .NET technologies.
- Strong expertise in .NET Core C# and MVC architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
- Proficiency in jQuery for front-end integration.
- Solid understanding of coding best practices and troubleshooting
Required Qualifications:
- Possess strong experience in .Net Programming-C# .Net and ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Entity Framework and SQL for efficient data management.
- Have a solid understanding of JQuery for creating interactive web applications.
- Experience with .Net Core is essential for developing scalable applications.
- Familiarity with hybrid work models and ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until Febraury 5, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 – $112,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
