Posting: Unqualified Teachers (Year 1 and Year 2 Teacher Candidates only)
Incumbents in this role will provide daily temporary support in the classroom in the event qualified occasional teaching staff are not available to fill a permanent teacher vacancy.
Qualifications
- 1st and 2nd year Teacher Candidates/Faculty of Education students only.
- Vulnerable sector screening/police check required.
- Availability - need to commit to be available a minimum of one day per week or more.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Practicing Catholic preferred.
Teacher Candidates who have applied for a Transitional Certificate through OCT will be eligible to apply to the Qualified Occasional Teachers posting once they receive their certificate.
