ABOUT US
Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivvik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a De Havilland Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.

ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Stores Agent, you will play a key role in the daily management of aircraft parts. Under the supervision of the Stores Manager, you will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and maintaining the organization of storage areas. This dynamic position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and initiative to effectively support technical operations, including urgent AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure efficient processing and shipping of aircraft part deliveries.
- Verify that all documentation is complete, compliant, and up to date.
- Actively contribute to maintaining cleanliness and organization in storage areas.
- Support the senior stores agent in all tasks related to store operations.
- Help the AOG (Aircraft on Ground) service when required.
- Perform other assigned tasks to support departmental needs and objectives.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Previous experience in the aviation field is considered an asset.
- Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC), including an airside driver’s permit.
- Physically capable of loading and unloading deliveries.
- Knowledge of aircraft inventory control systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with certification and airworthiness requirements for aviation materials is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrate initiative, innovation, and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to northern bases.
- Fluency in both French and English.
COMPENSATION
- Salary and benefits are determined in accordance with the corporate policy .
- Entry hourly salary - $21.76
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Location – Air Inuit Technical Center – Montreal-Trudeau Airport
- Possibility of a modified 5-5-4 schedule.
- Company-provided work clothing.
