About the role

It is a Seasonal contractual position. At Kitchener Auditorium will start around

last week of August 2026 and goes until June 2027.

The hourly wage rate for this position is $17,60.  Final compensation will be

determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards offerings will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role.

JOB SUMMARY

How you will make an impact

You will be responsible for maintaining, filling, and transporting stock for concessions.

As a Concessions Runner, you will

  • Transport goods from receiving to their designated areas.
  • Fill and replenish stock of all concessions items including filling machines.
  • Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment, including silverware, linen, and condiments; wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary
  • Serve guests beverages, bread and butter and replenishes as necessary; assist servers with food and beverage service
  • Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor
  • Perform all assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as running stock deliveries. 

 

About you

  • You must have a valid Smart Serve or provincial equivalent
  • Previous work experience or training is an asset
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high-volume environment
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
