Position Purpose:
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst ensures the protection of Infrastructure Ontario’s digital assets by leading the development and execution of security strategies, policies, and incident response plans. This role proactively identifies threats, manages vulnerabilities, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. It also supports the design, configuration, and governance of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Data Protection Services (DPS) across the organization.
What You Will Do:
- Analyze security alerts and threat intelligence to detect, investigate, and respond to potential incidents.
- Lead vulnerability management efforts, coordinating scans, interpreting results, and managing remediation activities.
- Maintain and configure Identity, access and privilege access management solutions such SailPoint, CyberArk and Entra-ID, in collaboration with Managed Security service provider and IT teams.
- Review and enhance security policies, procedures, and playbooks to align with evolving threats and best practices.
- Conduct architectural security reviews and lead audit access and certification campaigns.
- Assess third-party vendor risk and review controls through reports such as SOC2.
- Provide guidance on secure architecture and deliver training to key partners on secure practices and incident response readiness.
- Coordinate with external vendors, auditors, and threat intelligence providers.
- Design and refine detection logic, playbooks, and automation workflows.
What We Are Looking For:
- Several years’ experience in cybersecurity, Identity & Access management, familiarity with Data Security (DLP) and Security architecture is nice to have.
- Knowledge and appreciation of IAM, PAM, and DLP solutions such as SailPoint, Entra ID, CyberArk, and Microsoft Purview.
- Experience in coordinating threat Analysis and incident response in coordination with various IT teams and Managed service provider.
- Experience working with enterprise and security reference architecture.
- Ability to collaborate across IT, legal, compliance, and business units to embed security into Procurement and new vendor risk management.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE Attack framework; knowledge of privacy regulations such as PIPEDA and GDPR is nice to have.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Relevant professional learnings in cybersecurity, information systems, or related fields.
- Certifications such as AZ-500, MS-100 & MS-101, CEH are required; Azure Administrator Associate is considered an asset.

We offer a competitive salary range of $82,800 to $124,100 (P4 level), pay will align with skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
