We’re looking for a maintenance leader to join our team. In this role, you will monitor the status of production equipment and facility systems within the site and ensure that members of the department are assigned tasks on a schedule which optimizes production capabilities to meet the needs of the facility..

RESPONSIBILTIES

• Accomplishes maintenance human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and counselling employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; and adhering to policies and procedures.
• Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and production equipment by conferring with operating departments; identify inefficiencies and areas that can be improved; makes weekly suggestions for continuous improvement.
• Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and production equipment by using a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
• Improves the function and reliability of facility systems and production equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.

REQUIRMENTS

• 5 + years of relevant leadership experience in Maintenance/Millwright function
• Certified 443A
• Solid knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
