About the role

Temporary position for 12 months

As a management information Student, you help extract data and produce reports and indicators for the organization by developing and administering information systems. You analyze and help adapt management systems based on the organization’s changing needs. You provide discipline-specific technical support and help your unit carry out its activities, initiatives and processes in accordance with established policies and procedures. You support your unit’s more experienced employees and assist with technical work and analysis involving processes, information management and data processing. The ability to tailor your approach and make sound decisions is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to :

  • Provide technical expertise to support operations and address operational issues
  • Produce and validate management reports and analysis for your unit’s professionals
  • Operate and update databases
  • Help prepare technical notes and guides to enhance the skills and knowledge of users and their teams
  • Help roll out manual and automated processes and train users
  • Help practitioners follow procedures and use your unit’s tools and systems.

What you bring to the table

  • General college diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate advanced knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
