Summary Of Duties
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the M4 Gynecological Procedure Clinic works in a learning‑focused environment that supports staff, students, and patients. The RN is responsible for preparing patients for non‑invasive hysteroscopy, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), and other gynecological procedures, performing comprehensive assessments, and supporting patients throughout recovery. The role requires strong clinical judgment, patient‑centred communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Skills
Current Ontario RN Registration Current BCLS certification B.Sc.N. preferred Completion of a post‑graduate Operating Room (O.R.) certificate with current or recent related O.R. experience Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience and post‑anaesthetic nursing experience preferred Competence in vascular access insertion and device selection required Nursing Oncology certification preferred Recent Surgical Oncology nursing experience an asset Excellent communication, organizational, and patient‑teaching skills Ability to work effectively in a Patient‑Focused Care environment within a multidisciplinary team, including students Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development Demonstrated commitment to Person‑Centred Care principles
