MPE is currently seeking multiple and mutiple level Water Resource Civil Engineer Technologist to join our team in our Saskatoon office. Does this sound like the right fit for you? Learn more about the role !

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Work with engineers and senior technologists to complete the design and drafting of civil and water resource infrastructure. Projects may involve earthworks, dams, canals, pipelines, site grading, and drainage systems.
  • Complete field surveys utilizing RTK GPS equipment. Duties may include topographic survey, bathymetric survey, ROV survey, construction layout surveys, and quantity surveys.
  • Complete site inspection and resident engineering duties throughout construction phase of projects. Duties may include residenting, inspections, daily reporting, quantity takeoffs, and ensuring work is in accordance with Drawings and Specifications.
  • Work closely with engineers, technologists and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of civil/water resource projects from conceptual design to construction.

What Makes You Unique

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • 0-5 years of experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software.
  • Proficiency with GPS survey technology
  • Interest or experience in Water Resources would be considered an asset.
  • Previous field work considered an asset
  • Being registered or be eligible for registration with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPSK).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Show an aptitude for general construction methods.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to work in the field for extended periods of time.
