We are looking for a driven and curious Senior Scheduler in Toronto to support various Transit and Rail projects. As a leader on our program support team, you’ll perform more complex aspects of planning and scheduling activities; ensuring that all project control activities such as project planning, project administration, change management, project estimating, cost management and schedule management are executed.
We’ll ask you to work with the project team to establish Work Breakdown Structures and Baseline Schedules, as well as prepare schedule risk analysis to forecast contingencies. As a senior member, we’ll ask you to conduct and co-ordinate reviews of Consultants, Contractors and Vendor schedules, to ensure plans are realistic and achievable.
You’ll also be involved with Scheduling Quality Compliance on Schedules meeting PMI/Company Standards and developing and implementing an earned value system that accurately measure project work progress and performance. We’ll rely on you to carry out what-if and delay analysis’ and look to you for recommendations on scheduling procedures. Here's what you'll need
- Must have current and relevant Transit / Rail experience
- At least 10+ years of Planning / Scheduling experience
- A good understanding of building construction, timelines, and practices
- Experience Working inside the Primavera (P6) scheduling tool; minimum 2 years’ experience
- Proficiency with Scheduling systems spreadsheets, word processing software, databases and report writers
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Project Management, or related technical field
- Transit Planning/Scheduling experience Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have
- Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)
- Active membership in AACE, PMI, or similar association.
- PSP or PMI-SP certification a plus
- Ability to develop cost / schedule analysis presentations both graphically, written, and verbally.
- Strong communication skills and understanding of technical terminology

140,000.00
Posted Salary Range Upper
180,000.00
The base salary range for this position is $140,000.00 to $180,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across Ontario, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
