Your Role at Manion

The Finance Coordinator (Associate) supports the daily financial operations of our business, including processing claims payments, reconciling drug card claims, managing tracer requests, and depositing cheques electronically. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, this role is well-suited for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in accuracy, and can confidently manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. No formal finance education is required, just a sharp eye for detail and 1 or more years of relevant experience. This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Etobicoke, ON office, Monday through Friday.

What You Will Do

  • Print and distribute cheques
  • Submit and confirm direct deposit files from various banks, and void any rejected transactions
  • Void and trace claims payments as needed
  • Reconcile drug card claims paid by third party partner
  • Deposit cheques through remote deposit capture, or manually by completing the deposit form
  • Monitor the Finance JIRA queue and action tracer requests from the Contact Centre on a daily basis
  • Manage multiple projects and meet various established deadlines

What You Bring to the Team

  • 1 or more years of relevant work experience
  • A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an asset but not required
  • The ability to spend focused hours reviewing and entering financial data with a high degree of accuracy
  • Comfort working under pressure and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • An understanding that this role carries multiple critical monthly deadlines, and a commitment to meeting them consistently

Your Compensation

At the time of this posting, the estimated pay for this position is $45,000-50,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the base pay and does not encompass our comprehensive total rewards and benefits, that we proudly offer.
