Position #: 194960 Expected Start Date: May 29, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Kipling Integrated Health Centre City/Town: Kipling Department: Ambulance - Land Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.67 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends, Standby Number of Hours per Rotation: 224 hours per 8 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: EMS Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician $29.909 to $36.572 Travel Required: No Job Description: The Emergency Medical Technician-PCP is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls for service, provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)Licenses- Valid Class 4 driver's licenseOther Education and Training- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)Competencies- Basic - Writing skills- Basic - Verbal communication skills- Basic - Interpersonal skillsKnowledge and Abilities- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team- Ability to work independentlyOther Information- For more information on the town of Kipling please visit https://townofkipling.ca/- May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives- Kipling is located approximately 138 km north of Estevan- Standard Hours- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level- Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
