We are currently accepting applications to support multiple projects with our clients across Canada. Rotation: Project dependent, most commonly 14/7 or 21/7 Shift: 12 Hours (Days and Nights) Travel: Project Dependent - Flights via approved travel hubs (where applicable) OR Drive in / Drive out Lodging: Accommodations provided Pre-Employment Requirements: Successful completion of Alcohol, Drug and Fit to Work Screening Worker to provide: Valid Safety Training tickets CSO / BSO / CSTS-09/ OSSA Regional Intermediate First Aid with CPR & AED H2S Alive Bear Awareness (In-Class) Ground Disturbance Valid Driver’s License & 3 year abstract with 3 or less infractions CSA Approved safety boots - minimum 6" high & fully laceable. All Morgan Field Based Workers and Equipment Operators must: Be physically conditioned to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs. Work a rotational schedule, 12 hours a day, for both day or night shifts as required. Expect to handle noise and vibrations on the job. Be prepared for and willing to perform additional labour duties as / when required. Embrace the elements by working outdoors in all weather conditions. Whether it's rain, shine, or snow, you'll need to thrive in diverse weather environments. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with clients. Respond to inquiries promptly and carry out work as required to satisfy client requests and project quality standards. Assist maintenance in scheduling equipment preventative maintenance or repair. Motivate, inspire, observe, and delegate tasks to crew. Inspire productivity, promote training and cross training, and create a positive team culture. Build a level of knowledge and understanding of safety practices, scheduling techniques, trade knowledge and employee engagement. Adhere to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards. Communicate effectively with supervisors, other operators, and site personnel to ensure smooth operations. Champion our safety culture by adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies. Maintain awareness of the surrounding environment and potential hazards, such as other equipment or personnel. Perform JSA and FLHA’s as required. Demonstrate exceptional judgement and problem solving skills. Demonstrating versatility in collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks. Operate 2-way radio Perform labour duties as / when required. Assist ground personnel as / when required. Other duties as / when assigned Experience / Qualification Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a Site Supervisor on heavy civil earthworks for mining, oil sands, lease construction, highway construction, dam/dyke construction, landfill construction, underground utility installation, pad building, pad extensions, infills, sub prep, stripping, and/or dirt management projects is required. Expert level experience as an excavator, dozer or grader operator. Experience in winter access and winter lease construction.
