A day in the life of a Sanitation Person: As a sanitation person you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility. Working in the warehouse is physically demanding and requires some lifting throughout the work day. In this role you would be using pallet jacks. It is helpful to have previous experience with a power jack or other material handling equipment but not a requirement. In this role you would be expected to handle all chemicals, personal protective equipment and any equipment to company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations

Handles material handling equipment such as power jacks in a safe and efficient manner

Maintains the cleanliness of the facility

Uses power scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment
-
Understand and follow all safety standards including safety training, handling of chemicals (WHIMIS), pallet truck usage ,good manufacturing practices (GMP’S), and using personal protective equipment (PPE)
