The Hamilton program offers a full range of nuclear medicine services both therapeutic and diagnostic. We offer a full nuclear cardiology program, and any candidate is expected to participate fully in the stressing and interpretation of these studies. We perform all general nuclear medicine studies including I-123 MIBG as part of neuroendocrine and pediatric oncology programs. Over 4,000 PET scans are performed annually for both cardiac and oncologic indications. This includes myocardial perfusion imaging with Rubidium-82 PET but also cardiac imaging for endocarditis, sarcoid, and cardiac viability. We perform F-18 PSMA PET scans for both research protocols as well as part of a provincial registry.

Clinical activities will include the participation in all aspects of therapeutic and diagnostic nuclear medicine including cardiac stress testing.

The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Department of Medical Imaging and will be expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Department.
