Req ID: 222611Location: Central Zone, Centre for Clinical Research - QEII Department: RSH 892504Type of Employment: Casual Hourly FT long-assignment (100%) x 1 Management/Non Union PositionPosting Closing Date: 22-Jul-26About the Opportunity Reporting to the KRINS Research Manager, the Research Assistant contributes by working full time on-site at the Centre for Clinical Research and completing assigned research duties within our Central Zone Renal Program clinical areas. This includes performing patient-facing study related tasks, collecting and maintaining study data, and providing general administrative support. We are an interdisciplinary team with a broad range of research interests that reflect the complexities of kidney disease and kidney transplantation. Through our research, we aim to improve care and quality of life for adults living with kidney disease. About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in a Health Science and/or Science related field, or completed post-secondary education in a Health Science and/or Science related field required Two years’ research related experience preferred CCRP (Certified Clinical Research Professional) or CCRA (Certified Clinical Research Associate) an asset TCPS2: CORE Certification considered an asset Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), email and internet Proficiency with current Nova Scotia Health systems (OPOR CIS, OneContent, etc.) an asset Effective communication, problem solving and decision-making skills Well-developed organizational, time management and daily planning skills Ability to work well independently as well as within a multi-disciplinary team environment Previous experience in a health care/research setting is an asset
