Server Engineer
About the role
Installing, Configuring Windows operating systems Installed and configured various applications software like MS Office, antivirus, etc. Installed, configured, and maintained the regular updates of antivirus. Installed, configured, and troubleshot various PC hardware components. Outlook configuration and troubleshooting. Configuring & troubleshooting of LAN setup. Installation & troubleshooting of local and network printers. Basic networking knowledge (connecting switches/routers, access points, and assisting the network team with configurations). Installing and configuring domain controllers and managing objects in AD DS. Implementing DHCP, DNS system, and VPN server. Monitoring and maintenance of Windows Server Operating System components like Active Directory, Group Policies, Backup Tools, WSUS, & IIS. Working on VMware environment. Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of Windows 2008 R2/2012. Configure Windows services on server (SMS, posting). Experience with VMware & vCenter, Virtualization. Hands-on experience with server installation. Office 365 operations & support. Certification in MCSE, MCSA, CCNA is a plus.
