Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

CUSTOMER

  • Represent FCRM as subject matter expert (SME) and Product Owner of EFTR capability

  • Lead and support EFTR change initiatives from inception through deployment

  • Work with business partners to provide input on work processes and system changes affecting EFTR reporting, ensuring that EFTR compliance requirements are properly written into requirements for business projects

  • Accountable for documentation management for Business Operations changes and Project artifacts (i.e. process and procedures, requirements, data impact assessments, business test plans, etc.)

  • Support EFTR BAU processes through analysis of issues and solution recommendations

  • Provide input into EFTR capability 3-year roadmap

  • Provide input to financial planning as part of Operations budget and Technology budgets

SHAREHOLDER

  • Support the development of sound business cases for EFTR changes with an on-going focus on reusability, scalability, innovation and enterprise-wide solutions
  • Drive the implementation and maintenance of operational risk and controls in the EFTR stream.
  • Ensure adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements under Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and the Office of the Chief Data Officer
  • Proactively identify key business opportunities, research and recommend enhancements / modifications, develop strategies to achieve recommendations
  • Track individual progress of each active project and assist in the preparation of monthly project reporting and partner/executive dashboard reporting
  • Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, program, project managers, and third party vendors/ service partners as appropriate
  • Identify and understand emerging risks related to project activity and ensure business requirements and solutions appropriately mitigate risks
  • Ensure the team maintains compliance and procedure guidelines to support satisfactory audit results
  • Manage and/or oversee the implementation of solutions and work closely with key business leaders to optimize and maximize the availability of service, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • Communicate and negotiate timelines, budget, staffing, scope and critical milestones with project managers and key stakeholders
  • Participate in responding to periodic exams/audits by regulatory bodies and Internal Audit, to determine level of BSA/FCRM compliance
  • Monitor FCRM industry developments and maintain strong knowledge of evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts

  • Lead, motivate and develop relationships with internal and external business partners / stakeholders to develop productive working relationships.
  • Contribute to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce
  • Act as a brand ambassador for your business area/function and the bank, both internally and/or externally
  • Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and other business units, including participation in cross-functional groups or committees

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
  • 7+ years of experience in application management and technology project delivery
  • 3+ years of experience in AML
