Qui vous êtes

  • Développeur Unreal Engine chevronné, doté de solides connaissances en C++ et d'une expérience dans la création de gameplay de haute qualité.

Le salaire de base pour un poste d'ingénieur de jeu senior est compris entre $115,000 et $184,125 (CAD) par an. Le salaire de base pour un poste d'ingénieur de jeu senior est compris entre $153,750 et $197,250 (CAD) par an. Le salaire de base sera déterminé en fonction du poste, du niveau et du lieu de travail. La fourchette indiquée pour chaque poste correspond aux salaires cibles minimum et maximum pour les nouveaux employés dans les provinces approuvées par S6. As a Senior Game Engineer (Gameplay), you'll be a key contributor driving the development of core gameplay systems. You'll work closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to bring new features to life—from prototyping mechanics to polishing progression, or player interaction systems. You bring deep Unreal C++ experience and a passion for delivering gameplay that feels great.

What You'll Do

  • You'll build and iterate on gameplay systems using Unreal Engine C++, translating design ideas into robust and performant code.
  • You'll work cross-functionally with design and product to prototype, refine, and implement new player-facing features.
  • You'll debug and optimize gameplay code to ensure smooth player experiences across supported platforms.
  • You'll mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
  • You'll write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code to support current and future development needs.
  • You'll identify technical challenges early and propose solutions that balance creative vision with technical constraints.
  • You'll participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve team quality and consistency.
  • You'll help establish and uphold standards for gameplay architecture, scalability, and maintainability

Who You Are

  • A seasoned Unreal Engine developer with strong C++ fundamentals and experience shipping high-quality gameplay.
  • Experienced in architecting and building game features such as combat, player abilities, AI, systems gameplay, or narrative systems.
  • Passionate about game feel, player feedback loops, and crafting fun, responsive interactions.
  • Comfortable collaborating with non-technical teammates and turning creative ideas into technical realities.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, iterative development environments.
  • Familiar with modern development workflows, including version control, debugging tools, and performance analysis.

Nice To Have

  • Experience shipping multiplatform titles.
  • Familiarity with Blueprints and integrating C++ with designer-authored content.
  • Exposure to live service games and gameplay systems that scale and evolve post-launch.
  • A passion for tools and pipelines that help gameplay teams work faster and smarter.

Salary Information:

The base salary range for a Senior Game Engineer position is $115,000 - $184,125 (CAD) annually. The base salary range for a Staff Game Engineer position is $153,750 - $197,250 (CAD) annually. Base salary will be determined by role, level, and location. The range listed for each job is the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the positions across S6-approved provinces. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors. Please discuss your specific salary expectations for your preferred location during our interview process.

  • Aligned to core Pacific Coast hours (10:00am - 4:00pm PT)
