US Dayforce Payroll Consultant (Contract) Remote (US Hours) | Contract | 20-30 Hours Per Week
About the Role Silver Cloud is looking for an experienced US Dayforce Payroll Consultant to support the final and most critical stages of a large-scale US Dayforce Payroll & Benefits implementation. This is a hands-on contract opportunity focused on parallel testing, go-live and hypercare, working as the Payroll SME to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing across all 49 US states, including Alaska. You'll work closely with client payroll teams, implementation consultants and technical specialists, helping to validate payroll results, resolve issues and stabilise the solution following go-live. What You'll Be Doing Payroll Testing & Validation Lead and support payroll parallel testing activities Validate Dayforce payroll calculations against legacy systems Investigate and resolve payroll variances and discrepancies Execute real-life payroll scenarios during UAT and Day-in-the-Life testing
Payroll SME Support Act as the subject matter expert for US payroll throughout testing and go-live Support payroll issue resolution and provide expert guidance to project teams Ensure payroll compliance across federal, state and local tax jurisdictions
Go-Live & Hypercare Support payroll cutover and go-live readiness activities Validate live payroll processing and payroll outputs Provide post-go-live hypercare support Assist with payroll stabilisation and knowledge transfer activities
Benefits & Integrations Validate benefit deductions and employer contributions Support payroll and benefits integration testing Collaborate with technical teams on carrier feeds and benefit exports
What We're Looking For Proven experience supporting US Dayforce Payroll implementations Strong experience with parallel payroll testing, go-live and hypercare Deep understanding of US payroll legislation and compliance Experience supporting payroll across multiple states Ability to analyse payroll results and troubleshoot complex payroll issues Comfortable operating as the Payroll SME within a project environment Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Able to work flexibly around US payroll cycles and business hours
Nice to Have Dayforce Payroll certification APA Certification Benefits implementation experience Experience supporting large-scale, multi-state payroll transformations
