What This Role Is About Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant will complete all work assigned that is associated with maintenance, including all maintenance related tasks on the premises and boiler operations. Duties to include but not limited to the following:
- Repair, clean, and lubricate equipment, pumps and compressors
- Monitor and inspect equipment including boilers
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedule
- Carry out emergency maintenance activities as required
- Ensure that equipment is running at optimal capacity through operational checks such as observation and visual checks
- Assist with new installations and machine modifications
- Resolve daily equipment problems
- Maintain work areas in a neat and tidy condition with particular attention to health and safety and food safety
Qualifications
- Certified Industrial Electrician or Industrial Mechanic/Millwright
- 4th Class Boiler ticket, or willing to obtain, is a requirement for this role.
- Willing to support the operation through an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance outside of normal operating hours.
- 3 years of experience in an industrial environment
- Team player who also has the proven ability to work independently
- Strong technical, mechanical, and diagnostic skills
- Experience with PLC, troubleshooting, plumbing, and pipe fitting
